Lola Electrical and The Lola Group work together in partnership to offer landlords a complete HMO Compliance package when it comes to completing the work that your local authority has requested. We understand the different requirements that will need to be met before local councils will issue HMO licences. While we understand these requirements, we do not issue licences and can only guide landlords in fulfilling the work that the council has requested in order to obtain your HMO licence.
Each HMO property is different with varying requirements depending on the size and occupancy of the building. There can also be variations between councils, however common factors consist of:
While these are common factors, they may not be required for every property. Some factors may have already be installed or not requested by the council.
For this your local authority will usually send you a report of the works that they require you to complete, before you can obtain your HMO licence. Whether it is some or all these requirements, we can arrange the required work to be completed at the same time. This means landlords only have one company to deal with through the whole process of works to be completed.
Lola Electrical is NICEIC registered as an Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer. We are Qualified, Registered and Insured to complete all the electrical work undertaken.
The Lola Group is Gas Safe Registered and only employs experienced engineers to complete the required work and Gas Safe Certification. The Lola Group also employs carpenters, decorators and the general building trades that Lola Electrical does not undertake. Again, we are qualified, registered and insured to complete all the work undertaken.

With the two companies working in partnership and both being owned by the same person -Liam Delaney- we believe that clients should only have to deal with one person when it comes to answering any questions that you may have. Liam is available for scheduled phone calls and the office staff are always available for any general queries. When package (different trades) HMO compliance work is being completed, Liam will regularly attend the property himself. This is to ensure that we are able to offer a seamless and relatively stress-free process for all the Landlords that we work with.
